Q. How does wireless propane tank monitoring work?
A. Outfitted with the newest wireless and cellular technology, just like your smartphone’s, this monitor is installed on your propane tank to provide us real-time notifications of exactly how much fuel you have. When the propane in your tank hits a predetermined point, we receive an alert and arrange for a quick delivery. Q. I don’t like the color of my propane tank. Can I paint it another color?
A. No. Your propane tank is painted white, off-white or light beige for safety reasons. When exposed to heat, propane expands. The tank is painted a light color in order to reflect heat and keep the pressure inside your tank at a safe level. Colors any darker than light beige can absorb heat and consequently cause your propane tank to become dangerously over-pressurized. To keep your tank out of sight, you have the option of using fencing, lattice or plants as a screen. However, it’s important that our delivery drivers still be able to access it with ease. You can also put your propane tank out of sight altogether by letting us install an underground tank.
